The Rev'd Marion Wong

The Reverend Marion Wong is from Hong Kong. She was a teacher who taught in high school and elementary school as well as adult education. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree with honours from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Before coming to Canada, she felt God’s call to study theology. She attended the Vancouver School of Theology and received the Master of Pastoral Studies Degree and later the Master of Divinity Degree.

She was ordained by the United Church of Canada in 2002 and by the Anglican Church of Canada in 2017. Her passion is to share the Christian faith and help people to develop their own relationship with God. She has served in different capacities including new ministry development, multicultural ministry, and Chinese ministry. She enjoys working with people of different age groups and different ethnic backgrounds.

She is excited to take on this new challenge to share God’s love and the Christian faith with people from different ethnic backgrounds, different age groups and different stages of faith development.
